Lately, I've been under the growing conviction that man is fully depraved and can only be saved if it is God's will (an Augustinian view as opposed to a semi-pelagian view). Verses like this and Ephesians 2 continue to show me the beauty of the Gospel, generating a response of utter gratitude and dependence on the Lord's grace for daily sustenance.
