    Joshua 10:42 - "And Joshua captured all these kings and their land at one time, because the LORD God of Israel fought for Israel."

    this verse reminds me that the lord our god is for us in all things - he will not let us fail completely. He will accomplish his purposes for his gospel in our lives and through others around us.
