Mark 12:9 "What will the owner of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy the tenants and give the vineyard to others."
This verse is very challenging when thought in the context of our sinful rebellion toward God and our natural rejection of his Son, Jesus. In this light, it is completely understandable for us to go to Hell. But the amazing joy that comes from our new reality in Christ is the scandalous love that God has for us, despite the fact that we would kill his beloved Son, yet he still chooses to be merciful to us. "In Christ we are forgiven!"
